Wireless phone service discount cut from 50% to 25%.
They were able to get away with this bc some reiterees(wireline guys I guess) were only getting 25 % already. Now they pulled everyone else down to their level.

As 59 year old Verizon retiree who had just over 20 years service, I get zero reirement benefits from VZ. I am not even on the radar, oh I could get 22% cell discount for a service that is way over priced but went to better cell company anyway.
Funny, VZ will yank your 50% discount as a wireline retiree and drag their feet to enstate the 22% discount, and 3% for going paperless. I ended up paying over $250 for 4 lines and data I did not need.
Answer: Consumer Cellular $105 with 4 lines and good LTE coverage.
I ported out and saved 25% over the VZ 50% discount. No brainer and have better coverage to boot.
A continued 50% discount was the only retirement benefit, really. Now that is gone. Thank you for your years of service and loyalty...??
Who cares. Verlieson is such a rip off service may be had elsewhere for 75% less anyways.

What idiot came up with this idea? Lowell, Marc, Rohan, Matt, Tami? They can't come up with a better idea than to take from the retirees? If they offer us no loyalty they get none from us. Reap what you sow. Time to unionize Wireless.

Change your service . For example Comcast offers 45 % less for same service.
