Take a close look at what Kroger owns, they are very muck nationwide!! East to West they own chains under a variety of names!!

When you use a term like "share builders" I know that you are only looking at your area and not everywhere as a whole. Look at a map Kroger is not nation wide kebler isn't paying for capacity in most chains which is way they can't keep product in stock it has nothing to do with GMs not ordering

If you took all the reagionl chains that are only in 3-5 states they are bigger then Kroger and those are the stores kebler is losing in

Independents don’t dictate the business, sorry! Big nice chains will dictate, with wal Mart and Kroger that is a majority of the retail! If you are a rural area, that doesn’t have a warehouse they use a third party. Where do you think they get all their grocery items now? Unless of course they only sell dsd?? Haha!! They have a distribution channel already in place.
If not, they better get one! Dsd will end regardless! I don’t know a date and nobody else does, including the “my uncle” clown. If his uncle is that dumb to leak that he all should be fired! What I do know is dsd will end, profit is no longer there and retailers have planned this exit for years. Makes perfect sense. “We’re too big”, “we got Tate’s” all BS!!! Look at all the grocery items already in stores, we are such a small percentage that it will be easy to distribute that.
As far as getting product....most often it is the GM not ordering enough and blaming CAO. If not, you know how many share builders I got zero product in to build with? Ritz, Oreo, you name it! We’re not exempt from that!

Man there surely out doing me with those numbers, if you are only looking at Kroger I can understand but there down most other places. The only stores they are doing good in is chains that own there own warehouse or are exclusive to one chain which is hardly any.
Everyday nabisco in dsd is another W in the win column for Kellogg the game over for nabisco can’t compete on so many levels at retail getting out executed on a Dalily basis mostly by better pricing and pen and phone at the corporate level

Your math is wrong yes kebler is probably dumping all the money they have into Kroger but every else they are dying that phone and pen person can't make proudut appear in my stores or pack it out when they do get a couple of cases of kebler in

Do you know your called sales reps right, I've never been in a store that I couldn't get more displays then kebler for any reason
And Kroger while a big chain they are not everywhere. Kebler has been running empty in most of my area mybe 1-2 chains they keep product in stock but every where else there only carrying a limited set and can't keep the shelves filled.

Basic math. Nabisco can't compete. Store's want the price margain. DSD isn't cost efficient. I don't know when DSD is ending but Nabisco can't compete with mandated displays. We barely have any programming at Kroger anymore. When's the last time we had a share builder end? All we get is wing's and tie in on end cap#20 that most store's do not have! Won't be much longer now. Keebler beats us with a phone call and pen and paper everyday. Game over
The problem with nabisco is they are getting killed by Kellogg at retail with better pricing and mandated displays at the corporate level they get more. Sales by way of phone and paper with less overhead than nabisco does all day bottom line nabisco can’t compete with Kellogg on so many levels with dsd
