Heard rumors of more layoffs/ closing of more call centers the end of this year. If so which centers?

On the wireless side there are only9 centers left. Not hard to figure out which centers are next. Closures of the other 7 were already announced and underway to converting to hba.

More layoffs on Tuesday
this has been said before. once leases expore then hba. as tax abatements expire then conversion to outsource only. not enough $ in arpu to pay ft vzw employees to handhold. everything for customers to be done on website or by app. industry wide.
When will conversaion be complete? Time frame?
All customer service and tech employees for consumer accounts will be converted to Hba. The centers that have other departments will still be there but those 3 centers will not have any customer service reps or tech reps in the building after the full conversion is completed.
They will likely continue to convert smaller centers to HBA.. As for layoffs, expect them every other month or so.
