Hi folks. India has a very large advantage vs Europe/USA due to their ability to hire at 25-30 cents on the dollar/euro. Again this is for body shop work that can be offshore. They certainly have the talent, as talent is spread equally around the world. The same can be said for management. Some folks are born to be managers and some folks are not. With GTS coming out with the 24 month engagement process, you are seeing more of the fortune 250 strategy getting implemented, and thus more advantage moving toward India. Relationships are not encouraged, but rather body shop work is now the go to market engagement process. Services will be sold off, or spun off sooner rather than later. It’s IBM management playing follow the leader with HPE and CSC
