Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Salesforce

Not only do we get pushed for hum sales we now need to take salesforce more seriously with a goal for the store. Does anyone ever actually see a return on them? If so on what things?

I doubt they’re lying. My managers tell you to go through commissions statements and add people to salesforce. Obviously the customer isn’t there to consent.

@TxAsaou-hip

I believe you are lying. If you're not lying, then go report it to the proper channels instead this stupid board that a few dozen people read.

Report your manager to HR if they are blatantly making you do something that HR literally just emailed us about. Don't let shady managers get away with it.

HR sent out an email to everyone the other day saying that we cannot alter a customers account or even solicit solutions without their prior consent.... and my manager is telling me that i need to submit all these leads for salesforce without their consent. Verizon is really putting us in a bad spot.

Sales force is stupid. You can LITERALLY do the same thing with your calendar app on the phone, like I've been doing, for years. A complete waste of money and more useless busywork (like 5 star) that management rum up to harrass you about the SECOND you have a moment of free time. It's getting to the point I cannot stand it anymore. And then you tell them there's no return on it you get coached and company speak thrown at you.

I get being kept productive but there is ZERO productive about sales force. I select "phone" as preferred method of contact so customers are not getting hsrrased by auto texts.

Never seen a return on salesforce. People also aren’t using it properly. Just signing people up to be spammed without their consent. Next Wells Fargo.

I’ve seen ZERO returns from any type of salesforce lead.

What I don’t understand is management tells you you get credit for any lead or tmp lead you put in sales force. Not true! What if a customer comes back and buys something at target, your store and it’s your off day, or another Verizon store. You don’t get paid on it! That is a total b---s--- lie to hit a number. We also have to put tmp leads in there because our goal is 90 percent as a store. Pure greed!
