HD blames his directs running the ECA org for why he did not deliver in Q4. He has committed to move "the majority" of ECA roles to hubs. This will force out higher paid ECAs and bring costs more inline. This will not be one big move, but instead picking off on the ranks of LW, AL, etc. starting in July and running into Q2.

The biggest problem at oracle are the mid-level managers and the tier right below the top brass. They are the POSERS who prop up the scheme. Without them, the market would see what oracle really is, a complete scam. They dont invent anything at oracle (not since the DB) they just buy companies for market share and revenue, let them wither and die after "streamlining those businesses into the Oracle systems" . Note, this does not mean INTEGRATION so the tech works together, but rather the sales and service ops people do things the ORACLE way. The Oracle Way is supposedly changing all the time, but really all that changes is the revolving door of people who are trying to learn what the hell the oracle way even is.

That's a good question. These guys never think long term. They just think up the next story that will keep them employed for now.... one story at a time.
The name of the game at his and MH’s level is to buy time, after all who knows what might happen down the road. Stayin alive is the tune they’ve dancing to. And yes, of course the hub won’t deliver, but that’s next year’s problem, on the meantime cha-Ching !
