Intel is so screwed up that it totally intends to screw every employee that is not indoctrinated into it's Boy's Club.
They paid me equivalent of nearly 2 year salary to leave.
Immediately found much better job. Thank you Intel. Now I am just trying to get rid of all the years and years of stock.

Intel is good at meeting financial planning and meeting financial promises (incremental improvements to its tech process and products; tweak, sell in volume, repeat)
About 80% server market (conservative, high yield market) share is notable (so apparently Intel is good at sales also).
Intel is good at boldly experimenting with new ideas (and has a proven track of record of funding those ideas). It follows its policy - it is OK to fail at sth new and risky, as long as you learn sth. It could be better however with monetiziation and winning market with new, fresh and truly game changing classes of products.
