I’m in GL and was an RIFed SM recently. Never on a warning and in good standing. I heard An SM position recently opened in Cranberry, PA, which from what I understand is a highly sot after store. The position was opened with relocation assistance. And now rumor has it that the hired employee came from NC which was the directors old district. An excoworker of mine also told me that the store has a new GM that is completely shady and will do anything to get to the top and the moral in the store is falling. Thoughts on relocation for an SM after 100s of us were just rifed???

You could also make an attempt to spell words like sought and morale properly. May speak to your abilities if you can’t use the language properly.
If you’re white and over 40, I wouldn’t bet on it. If I were you, I’d focus on getting a job with a better company. I got rif’d a year ago and started with a big 5 tech company in January. When it comes time for my first bonus and vesting of my first stock options next February, I’m thinking of sending flowers to the hag who got me laid after years of loyal service.
It's more important to have a good relationship with management than it is to actually be good at your job. It's like that anywhere
That’s not unusual. I have been with Verizon for 9 years and I know that I have never seen any employee including myself get a new position without the help of others like my GM or DM. It’s the name of the game. You can have the best track record and great interview but without the recommendation of someone who knows the hiring manager, you’re out of luck.
