Apple never took Intel WiFi from starting it’s Broadcomm who is supplying them. Intel is almost 2 years behind Qualcomm on Modem. Qualcomm 1Gbps Modem came is 2016 Intel will come in 2018. QUALCOMM 5g will start coming from end of 2018 or start of 2019 Intel earliest if they are lucky to still have Apple socket will come in 2020. By that time Qualcomm would be on third generation with millions of phone in market with learning from them. In this whole thing company who is making money is only Apple who is getting chip at production code.
It is only WiFi chip Apple is dropping. Everything else is hunky dory!!!
@eti - Q dominates the market, Intel got a single customer that they are about to lose in another year. No comparison whatsoever.
Look at the bright side. Qualcomm probably lost that much as well.
