Apple has been working on WiFi/BT for years. Intel can simply forget WiFi/BT forever.

@iqqz. Apple earlier used Qualcomm’s cellular solution and Broadcom’s connectivity solution (WiFi/BT). I think they tend to use the best point solutions for each space. They may have an internal connectivity chipset by 2020 and don’t want a bundled chipset.
The latest news is that the 5G part is on but the integrated WiFi/BT are not.
