Thread regarding Mondelez International Inc. layoffs

Stores will not set up hutches

Our product is currently not like keblers when it comes to displays, kebler has every item on a shipper or a MOD with colored card board trays, stores spend about 5mins setting up any display they get. Our PRDs fall apart 50% of the time before even reaching the store

Until we hit that 5min mark on our displays or shippers I dont see warehouse coming as soon as everyone else

I think having good Mods, shippers, PRDs with every core item is a bigger tell we are going warehouse VS a couple stores going CAO

Stores are not going to set up hutches it's way to time consuming and our current prds and mods fall apart

Pen and phone guy- how much easier is it do you think it is to sell in shippers vs cases and hutchs

That the main reason why Kellogg is killing nabisco with displays shippers and mods done by phone and pen all day long at the corporate level nabisco can’t compete on so many levels at retail

I think your missing the point I'm not saying we aren't going warehouse I'm saying when we get closer to a real anocment you will see a dramatic change on how are pre-built displays come in and a way better variety. When it comes to that "phone and pen person" that guy keeps talking about its shippers and mods he is selling in not cases.

The 1/4 pallet of grams is an ok display same with the craker pack. But where is the rest of are line up? Look a the variety of pre built stuff kelloggs has coming in.

That stuff also makes going warehouse cheaper because you dont have to pay for capacity for lose cases

I haven't seen there displays ever built with anything really that isn't coming off a shipper or pallet display

I have stores that love mini hutches and would let me set up 10 in a store but you ask for a 1/2 pallet display and they look at you like your crazy

I've seen this happen to kebler in my stores shippers make it to the floor cases go on the overhead or back room to go stale

Oh, so I see you don’t have shippers in your area? Ritz shippers with the cracker sandwiches and the 1/4 pallets of grams, etc.? Not sure where you are but maybe your territory isn’t going warehouse, just the rest of the country! Glad your job is safe, hope they don’t start sending shippers soon!!

Then why are keblers shevles 1/2 empty all the time and they have very little displays in more then 2/3s of my stores? And it's not because the GM is not ordering

"They can get our product 6 nights a week on their grocery truck. Keeps more in stocks and less back stock. Pretty basic formula. Grocery 101"

For warehouse to work proudut needs to move to floor quickly and currently our displays dont, yes we have 1/2 pallet Prds but they s--- and it's our only thing at the moment.

Kebler has every item on a shipper, 1/4, 1/2, or full pallet display in a warehouse model currently they would dominate display space because you can drop a toasted or famous Amos shipper in 5min vs setting up and finding the mini hutch which probably come in though ups and finding the product for it to set it up

As a former GM I can tell you that the 5min display will always make to the floor and the thing I have to build would 60-80% of the time get through out and I would just use the product for the shelf

If it's their products they'll setup hutches! Your crazy if you think we're staying in DSD because of that! All about price margin and controlling inventory levels. We deliver twice a week. They can get our product 6 nights a week on their grocery truck. Keeps more in stocks and less back stock. Pretty basic formula. Grocery 101

Once again Keebler gets more done with a pen and phone than nabisco does all day kellogg owns the corparate level as well as the big chains game over nabisco cant compete at retail on so many levels

Store's won't have to build hutches. Prd's will come in and they'll roll them out on the floor. Nabisco will keep a few people around like Kelloggs did. That person will build those type hutches still. DSD is dead!

Kroger as we were told is going cao in July! WM is cao. Kroger set up plenty of Keebler hutches for the flash sales! Sounds like Mondelez needs to get things together to stay in the game!

I never said we weren't going CAO I said that are displays at the moment are too time consuming and garbage for stores to be willing to work with our product easily, and that seeing us have better, easier, and faster to floor displays is a better sign if going warehouse VS just a couple of stores going CAO
