There is a severance plan in place for any full time hourly employee if there job is eliminated it's on the HR website. I would get 26 weeks of that, then 26 weeks of unemployment at about 60% of my pay so that 12 months the other 2 months comes from that guy that says they only have to give us 60 days notice.
I would even get another month of pay from the vacation/sick pay o have left as well
How do you figure on being paid for a year after you're let go?
Even if all they gave us was only 60 days which they wont I would still not stop receiving money from my them/unemployment for 14 months if they announced it today

Nothing will be said in September about leaving DSD because we are not. They may restructure differently from what we do now, but we will still be here for awhile. Keep on guessing those dates you elves.
1-2 years? Wrong! We are not Keebler! 60 days is all that is required by law. They could announce tomorrow and we would be done by September! I’m not saying that is the timeline but I can guarantee you that we wound get the 5 month heads up like Keebler! We won’t get beyond 60 days!

These hit send people dont understand you not just going to walk into work one day and not have a job.
There will be an announcement (unknown time till that happens like so for the sake of argument in 2-6 months) also possible retention to stay till the end kebler people got $5000 in the beginning and more towards the end
Then a time frame for exit 6-9 months
That's at 8 months to a year from today at the earliest that you wont actual be working.
Then most companies (like ours) have a plan in place for severance when your job is eliminated
Typically 1-2 weeks for every year of service up to 26
Then depending on the state you could still collect unemployment
So your looking at any where from 1-2 years from today if they announce it in the next 2-6 months.
So whate if I lose my job ill get another. I'll get 26 weeks severance it's on our HR website I checked and 26 weeks of unemployment and a possible retention payout

Here what nabisco looking at do we continue to 6 brinks trucks to the bank everyday with overhead or take 10 brinks trucks to the bank with little overhead. The fact that stores have the capabilty to order or will soon have should tell u nabisco wants to take 10 brinks trucks to the bank. Their is no way dsd stays in so many ways

See that is a reasonable assessment. Reading theories and such like that is the reason I came on here.
But for the most part all you get are the doomsday predictions from wanna be Nostradomus' and the two brain celled people constantly call8ng everyone who slightly disagrees with them a "Nabisco cheerleader" and telling everyone "better hit send" when they won't even do it themselves.
I'm going to say this, Dirk has a thing in September to go over his plan for the company for the next couple of years for shareholders and employees as part of his strategic review I dont know the date but if we dont hear anything about going warehouse in his plan I dont think its happen for at least 5 years, if he does say anything even if we are just looking into it then I give it about a year or so for a full roll out
Our product is currently not like keblers when it comes to displays, kebler has every item on a shipper or a MOD with colored card board trays, stores spend about 5mins setting up any display they get. Our PRDs fall apart 50% of the time before even reaching the store
Until we hit that 5min mark on our displays or shippers I dont see warehouse coming as soon as everyone else
I think having good Mods, shippers, PRDs with every item is a bigger tell we are going warehouse VS a couple stores going CAO
Stores are not going to set up hutches it's way to time consuming
