Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Written up for Salesforce

Lol what a joke. I refused to break literal federal law and sign random people up without their consent like other reps in my store and most people I ask declined to be entered into salesforce and get spammed by our texts (why would they?) so I don’t have a ton of leads and I got written up today for it for not having enough salesforce leads. Let’s ignore the fact I close most of my deals in store. They can just fire me at this point.

I went online to the code of conduct website to report my manager for doing this. The link was hanging in the break room. 2 days later I had corporate compliance in the store interviewing people. 1 week later we had a full instore audit.

Manager no longer works at the company

...or if you are 100% sure the request violates federal law you can send an anonymous letter to the SEC tip line:

SEC Office of the Whistleblower

100 F Street NE

Mail Stop 5631

Washington, DC 20549

Fax: (703) 813-9322

If Salesforce printed out on paper, I'd use it instead of toliet paper to clean myself.

Call the 'Ethics Hotline'. You'd be surprised how seriously the company takes this kind of stuff. Yes, they will burn your boss unceremoniously if they encouraged you to commit a federal no-no.

F--- Salesforce. It's just another sh--ty used-to-be product that all the old geezers on the board of directors went for. It's just more busy work and it rarely, if ever, results in a sale. Maybe going forward Verizon will actually have some competent leadership that will save them from the board room meeting buzzword companies we keep "investing" in....

Ya, like HR will do anything to help...good luck with that thought. HR is there for the Company, not the employee.
