The only people affected were employees that are actually important as shown by their compensation. Not some minor hourly associates that are easily replaced and don't really matter as shown by their compensation. If they could make more money then they wouldn't be working at Sears.

I mean, in all honesty, those recruiters are useless af. When I was hired, the store did everything directly. With these recruiters, we literally get an email at 11pm the night before telling us that we have an interview the next day.
The news articles are for the layoffs in June. The WARN Act filings were finally released for June.
