Has anyone heard the rumor that Birmingham Brookwood Macy’s is closing?

Why does Birmingham AL need more than one store? Would make sense to close one of them. River chase Galleria can handle all the business of that town.
You really think this chain stays afloat with all these money losing stores? If Macy's does stay in business, it will be with far fewer stores and a larger online presence. Get out while the getting is good.
I'm not waiting for my store to close. I'm already out the door.
