@unk. I have done many a job for the poor as well as some of the richest in the world (Greenwich Ct and bordering NY) and can attest that I much rather work for the poor. The rich are condescending, tend to be nasty, impatient and largely think the world revolves around them. They are to used to being coddled. Some of the people working for them live in constant fear. It is actually sick. Luckily I don't need to depend on them at this stage of life. The poor on the other hand appreciate your efforts to help and are far more generous with tipping offering refreshments etc. Most of the contractors learn with experience the "extra" money earned from these types is certainly earned with all the associated grief and such dealing with these scum. Some seasoned ones with a thick skin and a high tolerance for pain do manage to make a good living soaking them though.

The biggest Welfare Queens reside not where you would think, but rather in places such as Greenwich, the rest of the Gold Coast of CT, the Hamptons, and Park/5th Avenues 😀

That’s where the REAL government assistance flows to unabated.

But, be content at the status quo. Don’t ask for equity. Enjoy your own treasures, your reasonably-priced Bud Tall Boy and your Big Screen TV. WINNING!

@unk, why do you conspire against your own self-interest and well-being? The rich, by and large, don’t do that.

Why don’t you try to be more like them?

In my career here, I’ve done hundreds, if not thousands, of repairs for poor people who were paying for their service.

Poor people also provide numerous social services jobs.

I’m not rich, but I hire painters, lanscapers, mechanics, I shop at stores.

Collectively, the lower echelons push this economy moreso than the wealthiest 2%.

How many of them go to a local deli or pizza place?

Don’t be fooled by the propaganda.

If you have more money at your disposal, you’re prone to spend a larger percentage of it than a wealthy individual.

I got a job from a poor woman.

I never got a job from a poor man.

Sad but true. There are some that would not agree how it was expressed, The facts remain , when the dwindling measly tax cuts end many below the top 2% will be footing the tax bill and the American debt.

And, the further irony of this “tax break”, the one that took money out of the government’s coffers and redirected it back to corporations so that they could buy back stock, therefore making the outstanding stock more valuable so that the uppermost 5% profited the greatestly from this windfall off our collective backs, goes unquestioned. This insanely wrong and evil moneygrab from those who can least afford it, this redistribution of wealth from the other, lowly level 95%, to the uber-wealthy whose greed cannot ever be sated, is demonic.

And, as the kicker, and adding insult to injury, the middleclass will additionally foot the bill for the shortfall in taxes going forward, making up for what the corporations would have, should have, paid.
