I really think I will sell a share of my SWN Stock today and go buy myself a cheeseburger. I will not be able to afford a drink by selling just one share but the cheeseburger will be a treat. Personally I blame the downfall of this once great company on the arrogant attitudes of the employees in Houston TX. SWN was built as an Arkansas Company (Corporate Office in Fayt AR for years). And it was employees in that office that discovered the Fayt Shale which made the company explode. All of the bad decisions following were made by Houston Employees after the corporate office move. Silly Billy catches a lot of slack on this page- but so should all the arrogant far removed from the wellhead employees in Houston. For they played a part in the stock only being worth a Sonic Cheeseburger. The Folks in the field (Arkansas, PA, WV, LA and the historic East TX) have done their part in producing gas. Houston what have you done?

I love the Razorback-red tinted glasses you have. The Conway staff were some of the worst when it came to spending money on unnecessary things. Combine that with an ELT that also likes to spend money and you have a lot of red ink.
There have been many conscientious people in Houston questioning just about everything we spend money on. Ironic some of those people no longer work here.
Cheese burgers aren’t healthy for anyone. I recommend fruit, vegetables, fish and chicken. Maybe treat yourself to a cheese burger every once in awhile. Also, at least go out for a walk. Many years ago John Wayne did a commercial advocating folks get off the couch and walk. He also did an aspirin commercial about the same time.
Houston made the mistake of continuing to invest money into drilling the Fayetteville Shale and purchasing the WV assets when they should have stuck a fork in the Fayetteville Shale 5 years ago and passed on the WV deal. If they were smart, they would have invested money into one of the many opportunities they had to pick up Permian acreage back when it was going for reasonable prices. So the workers in Arkansas and WV should be happy corporate is so dumb, because if they weren't dumb, many of those folks would be frying chicken at a gas station, or jobless.
