Who’s stupid enough to go to Human Resources to calm thier fears deserves to get fired. Human Resources are just puppets and have the corporate pulling thier strings. SeaWorld is not your friend nor do they care. They are far from done yet. They will throw another restructure the next quarter after the 3rd quarter comes out. They will annouce it as part of their continued plans to save the company. Keep looking for jobs!
HR doesn't care about us. They are just as in the dark as everyone else. They are only equipped with pre-scripted answers like #seaworldcares and "restructuring for the future"
HR has to do as their told or they'll be fired it's a hoax
Our new management team would never hide the fact of layoffs. I went to HR and they told me they care for us and if any employees has any fear, go to HR to talk to them about their fears. HR is their for you to help you get through this.
But didn’t they do that last year? They had one in summer and then another round of layoffs in the winter? In all honesty, I wouldn’t put it past them. Every year it’s the same thing, “no they wouldn’t something like that” and then they go ahead and surprise me.
Everyone is talking about another wave of layoffs in October or November. It’s impossible SeaWorld would layoff twice in a year. Upper managment would never de-moralize us like that.
Probably nothing, I think we’re done till at least November.
