The Club just had inventory....Way off the numbers....What can you expect when you get rid of the Audit department.

How do you control shrink at self check-out registers with just one person watching? Members go through these registers with loaded baskets and flat carts. They know they can get away with lots of free merchandise. They need to post signs saying "10 items or less only". We need to do something about this, PLEASE!!!!!!!!
Sorry, shrink is uncontrollable. I heard that people post on social media how they walk out with free merchandise at Sam's club. I could not believe that...Why should I care if higher ups don't. I am tired of getting stressed out over this.
We don’t need Audit teams. Control your shrink! Blame your club :)
Who is suppose to do audits in freezer and cooler?
Inventory for some areas is completely out of control in my club. Especially since they changed to a daily F/C delivery. We have some product that we have over 2 weeks worth of backstock for in the freezer and still get another 3-4 days worth on EVERY load. Worst part is that particular area really has no Team lead and the manager over the area only cares about it when the MM comes in and says something. Add in being understaffed and it's a complete mess. Losing sales because in order to get what you need you have to dig through 15 pallets of stuff you don't.. in the confines of a freezer no less.
Same at my club, inventory numbers are unbelievable. Why spend time doing dollar difference on inventory day, then again after inventory. What difference does that make, it gets worse by the day.
Who are they kidding, your still spending payroll on the team leads that are supposedly doing monthly audits. Which believe me they do a lousy job at that as well. So you are not saving on payroll, team leads are a higher level of pay, so no you are not saving money on payroll. Not to mention cutting corners at DC is what also contributes to club shrink.
Company is closing up Shop that’s why they do not care. Open your eyes!
Sad part is your probably correct it’s all a wash in their minds.
"they" say they figured the salary amount of audit people counting in club. People counting at D.C.'s. People counting before them etc...… that the dollar difference "washes" out. ???? They just don't care anymore. It's a tax write off. blah blah blah.
