I have worked at Sam's for over eight years and the favoritism displayed by management to certain associates is out of control. Most of the time we don't even see management on the floor all depending on who is on duty that day. They are are either in the receiving office chatting it up or int he managers office. When certain managers are off, the place is a zoo. People breaking the rules constantly. But if you are a buddy of management you get away with it.

Favortism has always been an issue. Corporate did JUST about everything they could to prevent it from happening.. harming those few good managers and associates along with the bad. Getting rid of merit raises, evaluation based raises etc etc. Even so there are ways and will always be ways cronyism shows.. eventually i'm sure H/O will find ways to curb it even more which will in the long rung hurt good managers and associates more than help anything.
Trolls and or Timid souls. Here is the blueprint . Target Clubs highest volume , cluster campaigns. They cannot get away with what the poster suggests. These are the very acts, and scare tactics utilized by this Comoany to prevent what is the best case in history for a Unionized workforce.
The goal keep you afraid so you can hold on to the crumbs you have, allowing the Company to pay lobbyists in Washington, batteries of Lawyers to savage and exploit its base. Do you know the percentage of Wal Nart Sans employees on Public Assistance we surely do. This they fear!!!
The more knowledge you have the more they fear!
They will not get away without Bargaining when defeated in multiple locations. They have not nearly enough resources to battle multiple Organizing Drives in Multiple Markets across the Country. The Company operates on ignorance and fear. They are designed to deny you ALL our rights to be represented. Does not mean you are anti Company but rather Pro Associate!! Big difference but we are entitled to Work without Fear, with dignity , for a living wage, for self respect!! That is what we fight for!!

Yes, we hear all this. Just remember the clubs / Walmart’s that were closed in when this was tried in different parts of the country.
Look up UFCW , if there is organizing Activity
the cards will indicate the Organizer and business Agent. You may also call the National for the UFCW they are based in Washinton DC. The National Labor Relations Act guarantees your right to Organize, and Federal Labor laws protect and insured your and fellow Co Workers right to do so. If you are in the Metro Philly Del or New Jersey areas 1776 is the Main local. There are others in Metro NY and around the Country.
Teamsters are a National Union , Costco has ex Price Clubs w this Union. Warehouse equip Operators Drivers. If you reach out for Local 1776 they will tell you whom to contact if regardless of where you are located in the US. Remember it is your right to Organize!

Stand Up! Be Counted!! Say No to further abuse, favoritism , unfair labor practices by the Company. Hold its Market Managers, and Club Managers to account for their illegal behaviors!!
