Rumors at Blackhat 2018 - Molina Cyber will be outsourced

Heard this week some rumors that the team will be dismantled in favor of an outsourced provider. Not sure if this is true or not but said vendor seemed confident. Just looking out for others in Healthcare.

For now, it’s measures to become attractive for sale. Once sold and merged, upper leadership and redundant operations at Molina Healthcare will be layed off. Acquiring company leadership picks and chooses what they desire. Obviously, they won’t be giving up their roles.

False. A Sugondese.company? That sounds made up. I heard the contract was awarded to the Ligma Group. That’s nuts.

Someone sent me this post to review and I must say that the level of complacency of those staying that are in cyber security is astonishing. Your company is basically telling you "we are going to wipe our (you know what's) with you" and yet you stay! This is very telling about the individual and how ineffectual or inferior the skill set might be. Typically, people only take so much abuse and leave but absorbing the abuse is very very telling. It is as if this is legalized domestic violence so much so one of the responses is to p--p corn before they leave. Oh how shameless and passive aggressive to equivicate their leaving with a bowl movement. Telling in and of itself is how toxic that environment is to employees in these departments. The pinnacle of their last words is to deficate debris. The amount of anger that is pent up in this individual due to their inability to execute in finding a new position elsewhere. Toxic companies like this seem to bring out the worst in people. So sad to see such a good company turn on their employees and bring out the worst in the human consciousness. May God bless those under such strange times. Shame on you Molina and shame on those who can't maintain their dignity or find a new job. You all have a choice, if you choose to stay to the point that you are going to put corned feces in the bathroom that's your fault. Perhaps do what we did in the old days and learn something new for crying out loud!

Can’t wait to give notice myself! Gonna stop by the bathroom on the way out and drop off a nice load of corn and peanuts!

So they don't pay out their claims, they don't pay severance, they are outsourcing the department, they abuse their employees, they don't pay their vendors, big win for Molina!!! Management is laughing to the bank like JW!

I heard chatter that the advanced level of the team left and the Jr.'s/entry Level 1's stood behind because they couldn't find any work outside of Molina even though they feverishly tried. That's got to hurt knowing that. As painful as it is to get the years under your belt, junior analysts are highly sought after. they should keep their chins up and keep seeking.

Good riddance! Non contributing to the community. Doubt they'll find anybody sympathetic toward them.

I'm not sure how this is a surprise. Of course they will outsource IT, Compliance and everything else that can be done by consultants (which is just about everything) until point of sale. This is such an old tune now. Molina is done folks. People have stopped getting severance, now what's the excuse for sticking round?

That's on the people that stay probably can't find work. I didn't think I would get laid off and walked the halls everyday almost defecating myself. If these people think that they are not getting laid off in this day and age when you can outsource this department on the cheap, that's just ludicrous. These people that are staying are either ignorant or have something to hide and are going to ride it out until the end with no severance. Or they have been looking and are not qualified. Red flags are getting a raise and then they have you document everything you do so they can shop your workflow out to a call center in India. We will know soon and sorry for what you all are going through be proactive.

Leave Molinas Health Cares alone! All they tried to do was make money off Obamas Care and now it doesn't work, It's all broked up! It's not their fault! If Hillary Clinton would have won things would be different so leave Molinas ALONE!!!
