Is it true that the number of Scrum masters per BU is getting reduced by 40% by end of Dec-2018 ?

Scrum masters will be deleted as per the Fibonacci series in Collaboration Vertical. Idea is to make Line Manager as the Scrum Master. CVP Team is leading this initiative.
Agile is toxic, I hated its guts alone with clueless scrum masters.
Why not lay them off ? After all their job in Cisco is to stick printouts on the wall like a mentally unsound person. There are too many in CCBU, a division known for only faults and guilt.
I echoed that, CCBU in BXB does NOT know what agile is, scrum master is clueless, keep putting different color of sticking papers on the conference room wall. I

In CCBU there are too many Scrum-mers creating stickies for their a$$e$. The VP in BXB rose to power, just by uttering the word agile and hiring an entire organization of Scrum-mers in India. The guy who can never do a code or become a people's manager is a fit for this job.
I've seen the value of scrum masters outside of cisco... But at Cisco, they are worthless. Mainly because Cisco is not agile (no matter how many times they try to convince themselves they are). But also because almost all of the scrum masters that work here absolutely s---.
I know one guy who was not so good techie or manager ( tried both ) but the vp was his village neighbour so relocated to sjc and was made scrum master iirc. Great to have friends and family in high places.
what value does Scrum Master bring to the company ?
Yes - had already started in Collaboration. They will trim 30 to 50% now and realize in 9 months time that we needed them so will hire in contractors to do the jobs instead.
