Has anyone heard anything more on the fate of the receiving clerk?

They have eliminated 2 different positions at the same time. It was back when they did away with the outside sales team and demos. I am a MTL along with everyone else, ptc and rec. I will ride it out it is not a .after of if it is a matter of when. I plan on going back to school. It's been a great 20plus yrs. Time to move on.
I do not see anything on people moderation about Receiving Clerk ln talks about HR unless you are talking about another location on the wire that I have not seen.
Do any of you read the Wire?
Workday is starting Sept 17. Training already pnStratacache.

I've heard no talk of Rec. Clerk going away this year, yes I believe it's really already gone, they are just planning the date. Good Luck as well to all.
This will be a new beginning to an unknown future.
It's the uncertainty that makes us unsure what's out there. I have never heard of anyone regretting leaving Sam's. Sam's was an experience in retail, if you choose to leave when the date is announced try something different or it's a great opportunity to go back to school to have job security and make more $.

I am a Receiving Clerk that has been anticipating my job elimination since January. I've come to terms that it's not "if" my position will eliminated but only "when" they will pull that trigger. When it happens it happens and I will then move forward. Pouting, putting others down and threats of a Union will not change the fact. Good luck fellow Clerks and PTC's.
PTC will probably go 1st then Receiving Clerk. So far they have not eliminated two positions at the same time. Yes Audit Team had more than one associate but it was one position (audit)

Nope. They're trying to make it miserable enough for us to quit. Not working here. A job is a job and as long as i'm getting paid, i'm staying. 😁
