@UG9s3ln-2rwx: you have a point, the reason you see the Bangalore site folks complain a lot, iscos only a handful of the folks here come from creamy/ivy league, most are from mediocre, low grade universities and such people choose a management path in India fast to coverup their lack of tech capability.

Bozos hire bozos thereby weakening the org strength. When I visited the Bangalore site, the complaint from v tech engineers were that their low tech savvy managers keeping high capabilty guys out during the interviewing process, and hiring low or medocre talent to keep their positions safe. This problem is exacerbated in India due to a large churn of engineers from many lowgrade univs & insecure non tech managers hiring low talent. These mo--ns endup cribbing ! There is a handful of senior handson engg talent in Banglr, the rest esp managers are c-ap.

Fatso & his QC chums have no clue about execution, and are using the lowcost argument as a means to keep Fs job & get him the top position. Their smoke & mirrors game will cost Intel dearly

@dro You are confusing Duisburg with SD and Bangalore.

At least from Duisburg, I never heard sh-- like „Employee A was made a manager not because he is a good leader, but because he didn‘t want to work under employee B.“ You only get that kind of drama from predominantly Indian sites.

And I still remember the first visit-all-sites trip that Aicha did. When she came back, she was fuming, because Bangalore was the only site where people constantly complained about other sites. I am quite sure it cost Bangalore quite a bit of project funding.

Munich site will stay. Always good to drink beer in Biergarten with direct flight from SFO.
