Is it a phone call, email, one-on-one meeting with manager? Are you given time to pack up your belongings?

I was virtual and got a call from my migraine at 9am, giving me the news.
22 years wasted at this company.....
Any field service reps let go or just staff?

Those I've heard of today are phone calls for employees working from home (virtual office), or 1:1 for employees on site. Have heard of both finishing by end of day Thursday, and out in 30 days. Have not heard of any 10-minute walkouts, but when that happens I understand you can arrange a time to come back and pick up your personal belongings under supervision in a day or two - presumeably allowing time to disable your accounts.
I've seen mostly impromptu 1:1 meetings
