I'm still hoping in vain that today will turn out to be like any other day at Xerox with no layoffs (or at least like most of other days.) Yet here I am on this board at the crack of dawn because I'm that nervous.
The stress this company is putting us through is destroying our health. I hope others are doing better this morning.

Heard a program and hotline support manager got hit in building 209 in webster, ny :(
My boss got let go this morning and a few other close people that I worked with. Seems like they are going after small managers this time along with the regular folk.

Hopefully you will not be impacted today. Regardless of when it takes place, and whether your group is hit by the next RIF, understand that there will be another coming soon. Unless you have a RIGP benefit you are trying to preserve, take control and find a different job. With severance benefits virtually gone, all that's left is RIGP vesting (for those who have it) and earned vacation time. As you say, Xerox is no longer a healthy place to be. Find a better place, where you can have a feeling of security and are able to put your energies into productive work rather than worries and angst.
Definitely seems to be something coming. It's not clear what groups, organizations or job categories. I don't think my group will be impacted, but you never know.
