I've been here for a year now and totally love the company. I've been fortunate to make great career progression in this time and that is driven by the clear direction the Executive staff at the company have executed as a strategy. Oracle is totally focused on delivering customers value with the Oracle Cloud which goes from strength to strength.
I have recommended to my friends to apply to work at Oracle as it is #1!
I was at a customer meeting this week; the guy left the room for a couple of minutes and when he came back I said "you forgot your wallet here; just be thankful I don't work for Oracle anymore", and we shared a laugh while he told me how much happier he has been since he dropped Oracle about a year ago...

If you get recruited by a big company like O as a young fresh and newly minted college graduate, it probably feels real good. You start your new job and think nothing of how the company got to where it is today. You are young and naive. If you come to O as an emp in an acquisition, you hear about all the dirt and how much your job will change (read:s---) before the ink is dry on the deal. Then you find out that O’s penchant for world-class customer disservice is even worse than you heard. It is simply a matter of perspective.
