All recruitment/hiring process are on-hold per HQ instructions. Anyone knows how long will this freeze maintain? Have you heard of this as well?
This like-wise sums up to the concerning environment.

That’s because another large layoff wave is coming. You can’t mass hire and mass layoff at the same time. It creates a liability.
In my group there were 4 open positions that were simply closed and counted towards a headcount. I don't think ANYONE - with an offer pending - would have half a brain to accept the offer after everything we have been through and it ain't over until it's over.
In our group we were unable to extend an offer to somebody. Definitely on hold, at least in my organization. I haven't heard a time frame, but I would expect it to last until we have either sold the company, or merged with Fuji if that is still on the table.
