This place is dead. Sales are slow. Growth is minimal. Bunch of washed up old men collecting a paycheck. Make no mistake, Amazon is crushing us into the ground. Every company is looking to migrate away from Oracle. Employee moral is down and new realses are BS. Don’t believe the hype.

If the staff is demoralized, then it would stand to reason that they are NOT drinking the koolaid.
'I interact with has absolute disdain for senior management'.. I left my manager and lots of talented colleagues left within a year. guess what? the manager was promoted! sales consulting center that is.
I've had to give up on waiting for severance. Been hoping seriously for the last year, and doing next to nothing for a couple of years before that. Finally concluded that there's no fine-grained method behind layoff "strategy", so I'd probably have/get to sit here doing nothing for years yet. Too much of a waste of personal time (and mental health), so, I'm off.
And some are hanging on just trying to make it until they can cash in on their 401(k). Hope they make it.

Also never been at a company where virtually everyone I interact with has absolute disdain for senior management. Feels a bit like working for the Trump administration where the clowns at the top treat everyone including customers like sh-- and only out to enrich themselves as fast as possible
Oracle is definitely on a downward death spiral. No raises, no perks, no parts, no happy customers and definitely no happy employees. Never worked for such a doom & gloom company. Everybody I work with is looking to jump ship. Some waiting for that perfect job others just waiting for the severance pay. Really sad.......
