Heard Stevens Point is this Wisconsin was hard hit by layoffs for those of you with friends colleagues or loved ones in that area just to let you know

I am in St. Point and didnt hear about this a month ago. However my boss's boss is coming into town tomorrow to talk to the underwrighting and field service team. Rumors are there will be layoffs.
The last time someone from NY came in, 4 ppl in the underwriting got canned. Totally unforeseen. Will update if anyone got canned.
There is a lot of wasteful spending in that group and other groups. Yes Managers get a lot of the Perks and spend a lot but they nickle and dime the workers underneath them.
They may be trying to grow it but there is a LOT of wasteful spending in that group. The group has many managers that don't contribute anything to the big picture, they do a great job of protecting each other though.
I hear exactly what you are saying. However, Travel Ins. is one of the lines that they are promoting and are hoping to grow. Go figure.
They need to hit the management level at Travel Guard/AIG Travel instead because all they do is travel for no reason.
Did the service center at SP get hit?
