Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Has anyone else noticed that the last couple of new posts on here mysteriously disappeared?

A criminal record was suggested, if true that is part of the public record. How is that disparaging.

The org announcement was very disparaging of a person who could be easily identified from the initials and position in the organization.

Well is it just possible that since this forum is free to use. That in fact the business the model of the layoff.com is to sell the IP address of commenters back to subject companies and yes for an additional fee remove posting? I would not be surprised that somewhere in the weasel words of the end user agreement, that we agree to when posting here, gives them that right. I wonder what company owns the layoff.com?

If the company put any pressure or made threats to get the CNET review comments removed, they need to get thicker skin because they are going to get lots of negative reviews about that whole product category.

Doubt it was because of the link, maybe something else written in the post was violating the site rules, so site admins nuked it.

Things that are not allowed here: racism, threats and personal insults (derogatory language in general). They also not allow posting personal info (names) nor impersonating others.

Right, I had noticed two disappeared including the one about the CNET review of DAS. What justification could there be for removing that post, other than pressure or threats from the company? It’s strange especially since the CNET review continues to be online and will have way more exposure than something here.

-1nm If it were true that the entire thread is deleted, wouldn't the HR trolls be able to get every thread removed by posting someone's name in the comments?

Yes. Usually it is because there is an actual name used, which violates the site policy. It seems like the whole thread gets deleted, not just the comment that is in violation, but I'm not 100% sure that is true.
