I received my email confirmation this morning that I was one of the lucky ones chosen to get my legal medical can--bis license approved yesterday. That was quick. I should have it in my hand by next week. How many others submitted their application this weekend?

I do not know if m-r-j-a-a will replace my need to take the anti anxiety medicine that makes me feel like a zombie and then my sleeping pills that I almost always over medicate on because I can’t sleep without them. I do not know because I havent had the chance to try with the fear I will lose my job, but I would sure like to give it a go and see. Oh and FYI I am a US veteran that deals with the complex issues caused by fighting for your freedom. Please allow me the freedom to try something that may or may not work in the hopes I can improve my life. There are actual people here who would love to try something new that will hopefully replace the awful medicine that we currently live on. I assure you I don’t take them because I want to feel like I’m not really awake and I assure you I won’t smoke weed because I want to get high. I would simply like to try an alternate medicine that has zero recorded fatalities.
I got my application temporarily denied today. I have to resubmit my photo. Apparently submitting a photo with a smile while holding a joint is not acceptable. Note to everyone else. Apparently you have to have a neutral facial expression. Oh well. I’ll fix that right now.
This site is much better than Yammer. It appears that this is where the real issues get discussed. All I need now is a big bowl of popcorn.

I got my approval today in my email. They are approving these things fast.

You are obviously uneducated on what this is. This is a natural plant that can be grown and used to treat a large number of ailments from skin disorders to depression. I don’t know about you, but I don’t go to the doctor asking for pills just to take pills. If I have an issue I will treat that issue the best way that I know how. I will also treat that issue with the least side effect as possible. I would much rather use the oils or smoke a joint to get the relief that I need than to pop some opiate that is known to be highly addictive and is known for causing deaths. Instead of assuming that every medical patient is an abuser, maybe just assume that he or she is trying to find a way to treat their ailment and get through their day while working with your hypocritical and judging personality.
Thank you for your wonderful insight into other peoples life. What univeristy did you get your medical degree from? So people just need to deal with chronic pain, PTSD, sleep disorders, nightmare tremors, cancer, severe anxiety, seizures, severe depression, ADHD, etc. I could go on forever. Yep y’all just wean yourself off those pills because the keyboard genius said so. The truth is everyone deals with something and has some sort of mental issue. If you say you don’t, then you are in denial. I can tell you right now that certain pills may work but they make me feel like c-ap and groggy when I wake up. If I can treat my ailment with this plant and not have those feelings, then how is that hurting anyone else. All you self-righteous hypocrites keep drinking your whiskey and beer and taking your pain pills and your heart medication and your blood pressure pills and tell me how I need to medicate because you obviously know everything and how to fix everyone issues. dumb--s
If your reason for m-r-j-a-a is to self medicate for psychiatric reasons, dope and pills are not the answer, with the exception of serious disorders like bipolar or schizophrenia. Wean yourself off those pills!

I’ll be submitting my application in the coming weeks. There is no rush right now, since there is no dispensary’s open yet. Unless your buying out of state or growing your own. I don’t have a green thumb and I don’t plan on traveling anytime soon. So my options are limited. I do look forward to getting off these stupid pills though.
That really was lucky. I seen on the news where they only approved 23 to test the system. They will start processing the others on Monday morning. I figured the rest of us will be in that two week window they are giving everyone.
