I've held many jobs in both corporations and mom and pop operations, and I have never worked for a company that professes so loudly to care about its people, while making decisions that destroy employee morale at the same time.
So much this! I sometimes wonder if they truly think us that stupid that we'd believe things they're saying over things we see (and feel on our own backs) them doing! Can you just imagine how low their opinion is of us?
They think we are as stupid as they are. I've worked in different companies, large and small, in different cities and states, and have never experienced anything remotely as bad as Change Healthcare. I feel bad for the employees who have had to put up with this for years on end. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see the numerous problems with this company. It's bad enough they don't care about the employees ; it's worse that they don't care about their customers. They don't acknowledge the fact that without customers or employees, they'd have to find other ways to line their cashmere pockets and get mega bonuses while giving less than 2% increases to employees while continuing to look for more ways to cut employee benefits.
Agreed. Employees are clearly nothing more than a bothersome necessity to Change Healthcare. I've always sympathized with minimum-wage workers in the U.S., because of the way they are treated in the workplace. I never thought that workplace disrespect would effect employees in professional and highly skilled technical careers. I have friends working in other healthcare companies whose benefits have improved, and salary increases are in line with performance and cost of living. These are companies I will be targeting once I dust off my resume. If you read this and are considering a position with Change Healthcare - you may want to reconsider.
