Every time there are layoffs, it seems proceeded to a sharp reduction on job requisitions. SA and AK messed up 10nm horribly, and there is going to be a price to be paid, so far though, the heads of TMG aren't being held accountable. Lots of engineers, I am sure will.

If you think evil managers are confined only to TMG then you certainly did not get around inside the company much during your Intel days
TMG was once the pride and crown jewel but PTD was totally missed managed since Sunlin left the building and TMG is a totally FUBAR
You are correct. There truly are evil managers in TMG that are only looking out for their own careers.
Unfortunately once one becomes an engineer in TMG, they are "forced" to play the political games for survival. Nobody could possibly know this before accepting a position, or they just prefer to turn a blind eye. Many good people then fail because they cannot perform to the standards of this environment, only those fully aware of kissing up to management or having a predetermined Godfather.
Good news for shareholders that internal jobs are frozen. Hopefully it will kickoff some much needed layoffs.
