Yes layoffs will come in phases. By 2020 we're completely done with DSD!
Yes the stores can dictate what they wasn’t. I believe this process has been in the works for about 8-10 years now.
Dirk has his announcement about our future strategy next week. I doubt we will have layoffs this year going into the holidays
This company has a history of layoffs at end of first quarter. Next week the strategy, end of first quarter next year begins implementing it. Everything I’ve been hearing from my stores and other vendors, walmart wants all vendors gone by 2020. Who know we will see. Without walmart no vendor can survive unfortunately. This company is taking us out a piece at a time, slowly, painfully, to avoid the mess Kellogg’s had when they left
Don’t you realize that the grocery stores can pull the plug anytime they want to. It is not up to Modelez it is up to the customer . If you know anything about selling you would know that the customer is always right. I do not know when DSD is exiting but there will be layoffs. You must be very young

When I was a rep, my orders were 25 - 40 cases a store. The other company got 100-250 cases a store, the same ones I was in. Just saying. Can’t see them doing what they did to us.

We won’t find out on a town hall, dirk may only elude to his findings but any confirmation would come in a conference call. MOD reviews will impact layoffs. Anyone who thinks we are safe in our jobs has a screw loose! Nobody in retail is safe, especially the middle man, such as us!! We are cooked! Just watch!
Agree. Town halls are nothing and never will be. We are not going any where anytime soon people. We would of heard something by now if it was this year or not.

Yammer has a post about a town hall global conference at 7 am central time on Wednesday September 5th from Deerfield. That is confirmed! Not fake news!! He's supposed to take questions and go over his new strategic review.
This site is all fake news and guessing. We ware not changing or doing anything different this year. I know they are changing and will in future but we are not as close as most here think. Everyone seems for sure this year but that will not happen guaranteed. Before it was all us getting let go and now most think they are redoing our routes in October and doing layoffs before the Holidays......lol.....that’s a good one......keep guessing....wrong again!
