Newark OH is the smallest office currently not set to close. We have 683 people here but will be down to <600 by the end of October. We have already lost our section managers, admin assistants, building admin crew, and cafeteria.
With current company sales and performance... every single one...
Marketing Dept is one of the departments on the chopping block next with QTD dates of Dec 31. Rumor is at least 50% reduction and all spots s---ed back into the cornfield vacuum no more hub positions. Other outlying similar departments will face similar consolidations
And Progressive provides no subsidies to independents for training, licensing, advertising, software/hardware, term pay.....
Progressive sells a lot of policies through Independent Agents. And BTW, they pay them much better commissions than State Farm pays its agents.
Yes, Geico has a whopping 4 agents in Illinois, all in Chicago. LOL!
Geico and progressive do have agents that sell for them. They are not 100% direct
Get rid of agents. Geico and progressive don’t have agents. When’s the last time you made a claim and called your agent

Not sure, but I can guarantee Executive will not be among them. No problems there, no sir. Also I can assure you that if your last name is Tipsord you will be safe, as well.
