That is what at&t gets for bribing cowan and trump tax cuts to line there pockets and turn a blind eye to illegal layoffs and offshoaring of jobs while they give work to non union authorized dealers and ihx scabs

Don't shoot the messanger, Fact is this company through deceptive business practices and tax aided fraud, took adventage of subscribers and employees combined for decades, financials have nothing to do with the corrupt management culture that reigns here.

poorly written article. 1) the link about "record" profit was from 2017. 2) really? have this person seen the net adds since T mobile stepped up its aggressive moves? ATT las lagged even Sprint in net adds for the "coveted" customers. 3) If the guardian had done a wee bit more research it would have noted that ATT has the highest debt in the industry that is unsustainable.

overall not a very well researched or written article.
