PTO

Hey , do any of you know if there are any specific weeks throughout the year that are blacked out by home office for being able to take PTO time that week?? I know the time off policy states that if you take vacation and there is a holiday that week you will get paid holiday pay instead of your PTO for that day. Seems that home office does not care which of the 52 weeks you take.

You can take time off anytime you want IF YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON. You know it's all about who you are, if they like you are not.

All approvals are based on business needs. You are needed during the holidays. If an associate requests one or two extra days off it usually gets approved but never more than that.

Our club has a blackout from November to January. You have to get special permission to take PTO during that time

When they change this time system over we was told it's our time and we can take it any time, but you know they are gonna do as though they want and if you push the issue retaliation is sure to follow.

Nothing was ever 'blacked out.' The caveat to that is the needs of the business. Don't expect to get PTO approved the week before X-mas or the week of Black Friday.

PTO is all the same . Holiday, sick and vacation is all the same.
