What's this round looking like when it comes to age of those who were laid off?
Is it once again leaning heavily towards those in the higher age bracket (who also coincidentally have higher pay?)

I ‘speculate’ Anything can be challenged legally, and when faced with mass pretrial interviews and testifying, they will settle. There is no way, they want their business conduct in a public trial. Nor would they want a legal expense. There is no question, they are going after tenure. Sad.
The Indian layoffs were pawns to equalize the real intent of laying off huge quantities of higher paid workers who happen to be older. The Indian losses make it appear it was done equitably age-wise. Those Indian jobs will come back soon.
If nobody legally challenges them, they get away with it. Sad but true.
Xerox has screwed up many times, but they know how to play this game. No age discrimination. Everyone in my area has been there for decades. I'm the baby of the group with 'only' 30 years. Unless everyone was 2 when they began their employment, current age would be 55+.
All over 40 from what I’ve seen. This is a big issue. Lawyers should be all over this.
I got laid off today in Canada and am 33 years old.
I don't think so. Today at Xerox India, they have fired many employees having experience from 3 Years to 12 years, so age is definitely not a factor.
I got laid off on the 16th.. they handed out a paper to say it wasn't age discrimination.. there was one person under 40 out of 32 laid off.. the rest were over 50!
Xerox is an older company. I would bet the average age of employees is well over 40.
