I hear that Intel is rehiring some of the 2016 ACT laid off employees.
Does anyone know whether Intel has changed policy on hiring back EMPLOYEES laid off though 2016 ACT ISP (basically all those level 4 stock folks)? Earlier INTEL said that ISPs will not be rehired.I had 4 successive years of EE rating. But received ISP due to level 4 stock.
I got S and SL4 for, as my manager explained, being "new to Intel"... ISP'd in 2016 fourteen months after being hired and receiving multiple internal and external performance awards.
Intel is a mess. No way in God's green earth I'd want to go back. People there have since tried to work with me at my new job. Nope. Nope. Nope.
Are you sure that he was ISP? ISPs are not supposed to be hired at Intel back in any capacity. It was told that ISPs may not be hired back even as BB employee.
I know a guy who received ISP and now is back as BB employee. However I think his manager had to fight with HR before he got hired again
Why hire back people who were let go for performance problems?
First of all the employees went out dont want to come back. Do how Intel can rehire? People are happy in other companies.
I don’t think Intel wants back those who got laid off, because those who got laid off wrongly should no longer be available and those who are still available were actually laid off correctly
OP - You got Level 4 stock for EE?!!
To others - if there are who are in a worse place, returning would not be that bad, although if that's not the case then why would anyone think of doing that honestly a surprise.
Why in the world would you want to go back? I would never go back and I ERPed and was invited back by my last manager, not ISPed. I couldn't wait to get out and just wanted a package first. I waited a little over a year for that package after I meet the Rule of 55. I almost left without a package I wanted out so badly. lol
not hiring back. Just reopened the same position. churn and burn is what's happening.
