Walmart is in the process of eliminating
Accounting dept. They have until oct 15th to work to get severance. We all know Sam's will follow in the future!! Please prepare the best you can....

Looks like managers will assume this role, not much for accounting to do most is just computer anyways.
If you mean the FT positions then that's old news for Sam's Club. If you mean the entire department? Not like we have much left of it anyways. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
The msm’s take over the morning work.
If they were all part time there wouldn't be severance offered. Who will be responsible for deposits, verifying change orders, tax forms, balancing CFTs? The 4 hours a day our gets seems to be minimal.
And now walmart is eliminating the part time positions. NO accounting dept at all!

Sams eliminated the position last year around Christmas. Just 2 p/t.
