Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Where can we go?

I'm among those who have had enough and I'm planning to leave as soon as I find adequate replacement job, but from what I've seen so far it'll be a while.

Most of the companies are in the same position as we are. I've checked a few of the boards here, and it doesn't look pretty.

So where do we go? Where can we turn to if we want to leave this place on our own?

"Best thing is to get on disability" But.... Don't you have to actually be disabled to "get on disability" ????

Best thing is to get on disability. Otherwise you'll kill yourself looking for a job but it'll be short term. No companies want anyone for more than a year or two max.
