Contracts are up in 2020! DSD will end by then. Possibly sooner!

You're DM is a liar! No changes coning soon! We're not exiting this year for sure. I wouldn't be surprised that some kind of announcement will be made after the holidays.

All I can say is be thankful that Trump is in office. If we all get laid off you'll have a much better opportunity to land a good paying job.

Yes the RDC' s would support the customer warehouses. However, the rdc' s are full to the rim and we use the branches to store inventory.. this inventory would have to go somewhere. I know there would be a decrease in invdntory required to support a warehouse model but dont know how much of a reduction..

If our RDC's currently support our DSD wouldn't they also support distribution to warehouses? It's the same volume and everyone uses the just in time model. No one carries a lot of extra's on their book's.

It has indeed begun in our region. Secured additional warehouse space.

Food for thought. In order to exit Dsd we would need to increase storage at the RDC's. To the best of my knowledge that work isnt being done. Not saying it wont be done but it certainly wont happen overnight.

Retailers control our business, you need to get your head out of the sand! We are dsd ONLY because retailers have signed up for that! That part will soon end! Retailers no longer want to pay for dsd services, they already have trucks to deliver, clerks to stock, and are working on CAO to order. If you don’t get this your clueless! Every red flag out there points to this direction! Retailers simply cannot afford to pay for dsd and complete in the every growing more competitive market of retail which now revolves more and more around e commerce. Whether it’s today or tomorrow, seems like every projected date the nay sayers jump in and say, “see, told you it’s not ending, we’re here to stay”. Wrong!!! Just wait and see! Meanwhile open your eyes to all that is going on. May not be happening in your market, but it happening, and happening fast!! Dsd is ending!

"Fake News!" No layoffs! DSD is staying! We make too much money to exit from DSD. We're not Keebler! All they sell are Cheeze it's! We have power brands plus Tate's to add to our DSD lineup! Future looks bright to me!

Yep! They still have reps! We will have a similar structure as the elves do! It's coming. As for the cars, you won't be keeping yours. They are on a lease plan and will be auctioned off! They'll keep the newer cars for the few reps that get to stay.

We will still be here in 2019 September and you guys will be saying next year or next month. It's so close to ending......lol......Nothing was even mentioned about DSD in his strategic review....its normal business as usual. We are still hiring full timers. 3 reps on my team just got new cars last week. They would not keep investing so much if we were exiting soon. Maybe in a few years as some think 2020.

September is not over yet!! Exiting DSD is a moving target. No one knows for sure when. No doubt it will be ending soon. Lot's of incentives being thrown out there lately with more to come

This has nothing to do with politics. It has to do with greed. Companies do not care about their employees anymore. The people entering the work force now will not have the same jobs for 20 -30 years as the baby boomers did. I feel sorry for my children and grandchildren. It is no fun having a job with no security.

Just put your head back in the sand, someone can tap you when it’s over. People’s guesses on the timeline may be a little off this far, but that doesn’t negate the fact that dsd is indeed ending. 2030, you can bet we will be long gone. If I had to predict I’d say by 2019. Anyone’s guess but all this retail transition isn’t happening for no reason. Wise up a bit!
