Ap from Oxon hulk has 70 cases year to date haha compare to other risk level fours in the district only have 50 hHa dumb a-- n’’ger
@UcH6HK7-1yko you sound like your AP from that store. Dont you have thieves you need too stop? But you can't do that right cause they always get away. HAHAHAHA
: @UcH6HK7-1qmc if you have a problem with someone or anyone here, why not take it to the Kumite. I know the prospect of losing your position with SHLD is a tough pill to swallow, however rather than lash out at people because it's "hard to look for another job" to paraphrase you from another thread, Why not grow up and try to comprehend that we are all on the same sinking ship instead of being a complete jerk about it.
Vendor fell off the loading dock because he’s strap on his truck broke id--t. Store didn’t lose any money off his incident. You’re probably the receving dude, who roll out because he was going to get fired for stealing haha.
Profitable stores close. I know my store was one of them last year. Rent is the reason for our store closing. We leased our store and paid a pretty low rent on the property. The landlord was always complaining about the lack of maintenance, store cleanliness, and general upkeep. When it came time to renew the lease the landlord did not renew. There is a Furniture store and a liquior store in the space now. I am sure they are paying more than my store did in rent.
Oxon Hill had 3 different store managers in 3 years. Every lead position is near gone. Most part timers work twice a week. The store is mostly quiet. Last year they had an incident where a vendor fell off the loading dock. He was in the hospital for a couple of weeks until he passed away from those injuries. I'm not sure how that situation has played out.
Oxon Hill made 12 million last year ? Are you sure ? I know for a fact that sales were down over a million dollars last year. They are currently a million dollars down compared to last year at this point. Oxon Hill has been losing a million dollars plus for the last 3 years plus.
@UcH6HK7-xvd Sales dont matter in the end of the day let me tell you. I have read here post where stores that were in the top 50 closed its all about profits vs expenses or if the property is up for sale and their is a buyer. I would suspect that the leases are at higher risk since they pay rent and if the profits drop to much its best to close the store vs a property that is actually owned where they don't have to pay rent other than just the property tax.
if you think it matters what a store makes, you are a fool. At this point, it's all about debt service and asset reallocation. That being said that's why I confirm anything and everything
Oxon Hill is not closing you id--ts. It made $12 mil last year in sales. Annapolis md is not closing made 15 mil last year.
just called oxon hill and they said they are not closing, I will wait on confirmation of Bowie and oxon hill, to be honest, Annapolis will probably go before both as there are several physical plant problems that need to be fixed
Oxon Hill to close in Sept. Bowie may close in Sept.
