We just published a book to help people negotiate better severance deals when they are laid off. Hoping it is helpful to folks. "Don't sign anything: A guide for the day you are laid off." https://www.amazon.com/dp/1986944115
Replaced by a computer, combine with a slow down in volume due to higher interest rates, and less being able to afford to buy with added higher building costs (tariffs have increased cost of wood from Canada), etc. have all combined towards a decline in business. This may be only the beginning. BofA is reacting to stay afloat.
Not surprising with volumes...digital mortgage can take apps
I heard it was centralize. In Chandler they laid off like 6 LSS.
Centralized sales, heloc and all support staff in the call center. Kept a video mtg team, the Spanish mtg team and vehicle lending.
I was one of the Loan officers in Jacksonville that was let go on 7/19. I wish i was given more explanation other than "it was a business decision".
Centralized Sales
Massive cuts in JAX took place - some very long employees were cut.
Sad
whole mortgage sales and heloc sales gone in jacksonville
Maybe stupid question but Centralized Sales? Or Retail?
A few in Texas today...the weeks not over yet
