Since I believe the tool reset has been completed has anyone done OOS in tools?
I was told that OOSs are now to be done quarterly and it’s been about that long since I’ve done them in my store
But since communication is non existent in my store I have not heard or been told when this procedure resumes
Anyone do this procedure?
You should still be doing OOS. Check the activity calendar and it will give you what division is to be OOS each month and if you need to do and display disposition scans.
If you have inventory then you are closing. they are shipping you all the stuff they can to liquidate. Most vendors are no more and OOS is not a vendor problem but an accounts payable problem on the SHC side.
OOS? Who has OOS, I haven’t seen this much inventory in years. We can’t keep up with all the trucks.
Do any of you guys really work at Sears?
SEARS will be completely out of money and entering liquidation in about 40 days so none of this will matter anyway.
@1oyb. Communication from people who are in the know does not happen in my store!
I do oos and was doing them religiously weekly, then one day out of the blue I was told they are only to be done quarterly.. they knew this for awhile but failed to communicate to people who do this task
Haven’t done them since April because of the fiasco tool reset that took way too long
Wonder when they will communicate when they are to be started again or if management will wait till the higher ups call and ask why they are not being done, them blame the worker for not doing them, let alone not getting the hours to even do them or printers to print the tickets

Lawl. All of this. But seriously, OOS hasn’t been done in my store since February when everyone got fired. I remember back in the good old days where OOS was done weekly like clockwork. There has been no official communication about the change of process. I assume it’s still supposed to be done weekly. By the ghosts of Sears’ past. Because I can’t even get a DV scan done.
