Thread regarding Fidelity Investments layoffs

Reimbursements

This company has gone insane. I've heard that there has been a recent uptick in people voluntarily leaving the firm. Not over these reimbursements, but due to a drastic shift in the overall corporate culture. I've been out of Fidelity for a while now, so I can't speak first hand, by from what I hear things have gone downhill fairly quickly in terms of the culture at Fidelity.

It is bad for people on phones. SVPs and others, they at least get paid better. Phones did not have pay increase in years now.

Profits keep going up and culture is in the toilet. Some people luck out and get cushy jobs but most others, can’t wait to leave.

Yes there are people asking to be put on the chopping block. The culture is going down hill and fast. There are a lot of people who are unhappy and looking to leave. Current employee as of this writing.

This is true. I left a couple years ago, and all of my former colleagues/friends have now either left too or are desperately trying to leave. And we're not old either. We all fall within that "target" age group (25-35) that Fidelity seems so fixated on.
