Price changes in all stores, 1000’s of them in grocery alone! If your store has not changed yet, they will. Recall took precedence and now with goldfish. Aggressive move towards taking business from Kroger!

Only Dirk knows! Having been through a number of layoffs with nabisco, all such announcements have always come through HR in the form of a conference call by region.

Anyone believing dsd isn’t ending is really living in a fantasy world! It takes time to dismantle dsd and the steps to do this have been in motion. Company organized the one team one dream campaign to try to calm fears and retain help during the process, the flags are everywhere. No, we’re not going to tweek orders for a living! It won’t be long now before product starts to arrive on retailers trucks. So obvious!! Hard to imagine how people still deny this???

When's the big announcement coming in September when Dirk speaks?

WM will not doubt be the one to go warehouse first, this dies not surprise me! Same thing happened with Keebler.

It’s all about profit and the new expenses retailers are taking on in the retail arena have to be covered somehow! Home delivery, personal shoppers, etc.. Retailers need to remain profitable!! Cutting the cord in dsd will help! Wake up people, retail is changing! You DM’s are not in charge so it’s not hard for them to lie when they are asked. All they have to say is,” oh, I didn’t know”! Believe me, they know something is up. If they really don’t, they ain’t too smart!!!

They are hiring because people are leaving. The job still needs to get done untill the end. Are you willing to do 2 or 3 jobs for the price of 1? I'm not either. Don't take it personally, it's just business. Corporations are committed to maximizing profits for share holders. Nothing more, nothing less. Mondelez is finally moving away from their 1970's and 80's business model and into the 21'st century. It's the world we live in, profits before people and community.

Haha!!! You must be a newer higher? These are not rumors started by Keebler!! Your DM has every reason to lie! His boss told him to!! They are trying their best to conceal the truth, even going so far as to put together a “one team one dream” campaign. Management is well aware that retailers are leaving dsd! Plain and simple, retailers need to eliminate the expense of dsd! As the retail market and profits get smaller retailers need to cut that expense! Watch and see! Your DM is lying! When the news breaks, your DM won’t even feel bad! Lived thought at least 6 major “right sizing” and it’s all business!! And your just a number! You

I did ask my DM. He said that those rumors aren't true. Keebler started them he said. He said no layoffs. We're still hiring. I would quit listening to rumors. Our DM wouldn't lie.

Look again! All family size Oreo, regular Oreo, all belvita, etc!!! Rollback tags hung by store!! Not an error!

It’s not elves, it’s your co workers at nabisco who are a bit more realistic! You’ll be laughing all the way through the unemployment line! Ask your DM...lol!

Only closeouts I saw was better cheddar, cheese nips and a few other random items that are being discontinued. Nothing to worry about. We'll be on here next year laughing about all the fake news from the elves on this site

Oh, I See! Closing out the entire Oreo and Belvita lines? Regular and ds oreo are a close out? Boy that’s really helpful, thanks for your input! So glad dsd is here to stay! I know a lot of people are concerned about our performance in NA, including Dirk himself.

Sounds like between the close out and purchase of Tate’s, our shareholders should be really happy!! Yahoo!!! 🤪 Your a fool!

We're not going anywhere. Just some markdowns due to closeouts. We're committed to DSD. Keebler made up this rumor when the exited DSD. We're not going anywhere.

Seen similar pricing at my Walmart also. Looks like we are definitely getting out of Walmart soon. Not sure if we will exit DSD entirely but Walmart looks to be imminent

And if (actually when) the announcement comes we are exiting dsd, what kind of obligation will your dm have for saying that? NONE!!! ZERO!! ZIPPO!! Is there any possibility that they may be telling you this because they want to retain help until the end? They are hiring still because once the announcement comes people will naturally quit. We’ve lost more FT merchandisers than ever before!! They want to get out before the masses, they are already gainfully employed. For those of you that are newer, you know how long it took to onboard you!! The six week severance a FT person could get isn’t worth 3 months of being unemployed. Any PT help won’t get a thing, never have in the past!!! Good luck, do whatever you need to protect yourself, the company is doing all they need to protect themselves and in the end, you and your sad story won’t matter!!!

Just got back from shopping. Large food store, not WM. Wow! Keebler is killing us on price. The entire unhealthy snacking category has been in decline here in North America for several years and now we have to compete with that? Not good. Yes, changes are coming.

Your DM is just trying to get you to the finish line. DSD will be ending soon. We will be phased out gradually. You may make it through the 1st round of layoffs but ultimately we'll all be gone in the next year or 2.

Great! The share holders are content with our North American region s---ing up their dividends for at least a couple more years.

Excatly my friend! They won't tell you the real story. Look at the signs. No way we're here in 2 years. I'd be surprised if we're here past the end of 18.

My DM said that we're not going anywhere for at least 2 years. After that he's unsure what direction Mondelez will go.

Exactly! It’s the retail environment! Imagine how they can continue to cut prices when they are not paying for dsd, reps, cars, PTO,

Healthcare, etc.

Pen and phone is winning!! DSD is dead! Time to move on! DSD is a dinosaur in this day and age! We're like the newspapers. Cable tv and landline phone. They're going extinct like DSD. Hit send!!

That just means even less profits. In a declining catagory we can not beat our competitors. N.A. has been a disappointment for some time now. Time to lopp off the long tail as Dirk called it?
