Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Our store has ZERO traffic and managers are riding us

Our DM said we will start having sign holding shifts at the intersection outside of the store. Here in Arizona the temp is around 110 degrees and I have told management im not going outside to twirl signs. Verizon hits a new low.

OP, help me out as all I can see is that there’s a disconnect here.

The very people endlessly complaining there’s no work to be done within their job description, and little traffic, now believe a strike will be noticed?

Do you have any cocept whatsoever of the term “leverage”.

BTW, I’m having a high stakes poker game next week. You and your cohorts are welcome to join.

Of course there is zero traffic, you live in the desert. Might see a sidewinder.

Most stores have zero traffic. I don't understand why so many are still open.

110 degrees = workman’s comp.

How do you think I felt, having to hold a sign outside my local wireless store 4 hours each week during the strike?

Make sure they assign it by seniority and issue you PPE before working in the street. Stay safe.
