Thread regarding Sears layoffs

It is so funny to see associates and managers at all levels of the food chain fall over each other to get a chance to talk with Eddie and kiss his a--. Same goes for Leena. It's a big a-- kissing contest if I've ever seen one. Are they thinking that Eddie will magically give them a raise or promotion for being a brown-noser? Yeah right. He's probably laughing his a-- off every time he posts. It's probably an ego boost too.

The only purpose pebble ever served was so Eddie could use it to control and manipulate associates. He would troll the message board and randomly call out managers posts and slam them for them, I remember one time he went after a regional for congratulating his team for a good quarter (we’ll not good but better than expected) and Eddie went after him on pebble. Asking the regional to “define good” and undressing him for congratulating the whole region when not everyone when they obviously could have done better.

We are required by our DM to "like" his post and to post on Pebble at least once a day. We cannot say or ask anything negative or we get a call to adjust our attitude.

I would like pebble if it was strictly for work use only, but I knew it would turn into Facebook. Not sure how or why the company allowed that to happen, as a manager I would find associates sitting at the computers and when I would ask what they were working on and they would say I’m on pebble and we’re encouraged to do so. Then I would find out they weren’t looking up useful info or asking questions, they were on sites about music,motorcycles or whatever. Yet there was plenty of work to be done. It was very frustrating.

It will be replaced with something equally crappy.

Is this true? I'm on vacation so I can't check FLS news. If so, good riddance! It's useless!
